Bio - Personal
I was born in Landau in der Pfalz, Germany and grew up in the Rhein valley near Mannheim. I went to Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität in Bonn and received a Vordiplom in Business and in Economics.
While in my masters program (economics with a minor in marketing) I had the opportunity to go to Kansas University. Though I had little knowledge about Kansas I vaguely knew that it was in the middle of America, somewhere. Once there I decided it would make the most sense to complete an M.B.A. During those studies I met my future husband, David. After completing my M.B.A., I was accepted into the PhD program at the University of Kansas.
While I worked on my PhD we also had two wonderful children, Owen and Dominique. Once my PhD was complete we landed here in Reno.
We love the outdoor activities around Reno and almost any weekend you will find us hiking or skiing (whichever is appropriate for that time of year).
